Tracy Ruddell is responsible for meeting the Museum’s admissions and revenue targets, as well as building an understanding of current and potential audiences in order to contribute to long-term sustainable growth.
Tracy manages the ROM’s advertising strategies, audience research program and brand initiatives, along with the development of industry partnerships. Tracy works closely with exhibitions and programs planning at the ROM, as well as Visitor Experience, to ensure the ROM’s initiatives are inline with audience needs. Most recently, Tracy led a major research study to help better position the ROM for long-term attendance growth and audience development as the museum embarks on a new strategic plan in the lead up to its centennial celebrations in 2014.
Tracy also serves on the Public Relations and Marketing Committee for the American Association of Museums Board. Tracy holds an MA in Museum Studies and a post-graduate diploma in Marketing, and has previously worked at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Tate Liverpool in England.
