This year’s Making Culture Matter symposium “Arts, Culture and Heritage in Transition,” focuses on the themes of change, and the challenges, opportunities, and extraordinary potential it holds for cultural institutions. As communities across the province continue to grow and diversify, cultural spaces from arts to heritage and beyond, must reflect this transition and discover ways to both reaffirm and invent their roles.

From building stronger relationships with communities and funders, to reaching out to new audiences through innovative programming, digital initiatives, and reinventing spaces, “Art, Culture and Heritage in Transition,” brings together professionals from across the cultural spectrum to explore these themes and the exciting ways in which organizations can continue to grow with the public they serve.
